GOLDEN GLOVE WINNER 2018/2019 – JACK McCREA
Okay, this is hardly the most sensational news you’ll ever hear – it’s been obvious for a long time now that Jack’s lead would be hard to overcome. Nonetheless, there comes a time when a winner is declared and even if we have been very cautious that time is now.
AQUINAS FOOTBALL CLUB DECLARE JACK McCREA THE WINNER OF THE GOLDEN GLOVE FOR 2018/2019.
Jack’s score of twelve clean sheets is one of the highest that any winner of the Golden Glove has ever recorded and his win this year makes him only the second keeper to retain the Glove. Jack was one of three winners last year. Only Kevin McGovern of the 1996 team has retained the Glove before Jack.
Can jack become the first keeper to win the Glove three times in a row? Well, that’s for next year. For the moment, enjoy it Jack.
