Golden Boot

With the under 11s playing a friendly, Paddy McGeown took the advantage to restore the eight goal margin between him and the young pretender, Conaiull Taggart.

Paddy scored twice on Friday evening – goals, I mean, Behave! This is not a reference to the pre-formals! He now sits on twenty eight goals.

Paddy McGeown, U17 Star – 28 goals. Getting close, but still

some way to go to be sure.

Conaill Taggart, U11 – in 2nd place, on

20. It’s not over until it’s over is

Conaill’s approach.

Conall Breen of the 13s to sits just one behind Conaill on 19 goals. He’s not conceding yet either.

Conall Breen, U13 –3rd on 19. Still a lot

to play for yet.

Another mover and shaker this weekend was the current holder of the Boot, Conor George of 15 Star. He scored two too to (stoppppp) leap into fourth spot. He sits on seventeen, three behind Conaill in second.

Onor George, u15 – in 4th on 17. 11

behind Paddy, but ... could he hold

onto the Boot??

It’s so tight from second to fifth! Just behind Conor, by one goal, sits Brendan Blaney of 16 Star and under 13 teammate Joe Mellon. They are on16.

Joe Mellon, U13 –5th... for the moment...

Brendan Blaney, U16 – 5th as well, but

knows where the net is.
