Golden Boot

Paddy McGeown scored two in his teams amazing 6 – 6 draw. Conaill Taggart scored two too to keep the tally intact at the top. (Try saying that with a bit of drink taken!).

Paddy has now scored 26 goals and it’s still only January. Conaill is no shirker either, his two (too) put him on 18 in second place.

Paddy McGeown, U17 Star – 26 goals. Still knocking them in.

Conaill Taggart, U11 – in 2nd place.

18 goals. Looks hungry.

Joe Mellon and Conal Breen of the 13s also scored two too to - (okay, enough, behave yourself) - move into third place. On 16, they are only two behind the Tagg and show how tight it is up there.

Joe Mellon, U13 – now in 3rd. Don’t rule

this Aquinas veteran out just yet.

Conall Breen, U13 – also in joint 3rd.,

The 13s hunt in packs. When one of

their leading scorers score, they all

score. Might fancy winning the Boot

in his debut year with the club.

Just one behind Joe and Conall sit Conor George of 15 Star and Brendan Blaney of 16 Star, with 15 goals

Brendan Blaney, U16 – 4th on 15. Still

very much in the chase.

Conor George, U15 –joint 4th with

Brendan. Still clutching the Boot, not

Letting go until it’s prised from his hand.

The other under 13 challenger, Ryan Creaney, sits in fifth spot on thirteen goals.

Ryan Creaney, U13 – the third U13

looking for the Boot.
