Golden Boot

Paddy McGeown returned to action this weekend...... with a vengeance. In a week when nearest rival, Conaill Taggart, wasn’t playing, Paddy grabbed a hat trick up in Poleglass to reinforce his position at the top of the table. He now sits on 24 goals.

Conaill Taggart remains in second place with sixteen goals! Still a threat.

Paddy McGeown, U17 Star – increased his lead, happy new year!

Conaill Taggart, U11 – in 2nd place.

Maybe just biding his time!!

A hat trick from Conor George of the 15s sees him move into joint third spot with Brendan Blaney of 16 Star. They both sit just one behind Conaill on 15 goals.

Brendan Blaney, U16 – 3rd on 15. Could

he pull it off at the end?

Conor George, U15 – moves into joint

3rd with his hat trick. Would you bet

against him launching a second half of

the season challenge to retain the Boot?

It’s still so tight from second to fourth, only one goal between each position. Fourth spot is claimed by team mates Joseph Mellon and Conal Breen of the 13s. They sit on fourteen goals.

Joe Mellon, U13 – Joe’s in 4th. Could be

a good outside bet for the Boot.

Conall Breen, U13 – also in joint 4th,

Could he be a first yearBoot winner?

Just in case you thought that the under 13s had no-one else who can bang them in, fifth place is also held by them in the shape of Ryan Creaney. He’s on thirteen goals.

Ryan Creaney, U13 – the third U13

looking for the Boot.
