There is no change at the top of the Golden Glove table after the weekend’s fixtures.
Jack McCrea of the Seniors still leads with four clean sheets.
JacK McCrea, Sen – fancies the Glove
all to himself this year this year.
What has changed is that the chasing pack has increased. Pearse Lynch of the 14s and Gavin McDonald of the Seconds have been joined now in second place on two clean sheets by the under 15 star keeper, Steven Hughes, with his second clean sheet in three games. They continue to keep the pressure on Jack.
Pearse Lynch, U14 – leads the younger challenge.
Gavin McDonald, Sen – won it before, wants
Steven Hughes, U15 – could he be the dark horse?
After Pearse, Gavin and Steven, we had four keepers with one clean sheet. Eoghan Turkington and fellow 18 keeper, Stephen McVeigh along with under 17 keeper, Reuban Carleton, and the 11s’ Conor Friel. They have now been joined by another three keepers, joining the table with their first clean sheet of the season, in the case of the under 13s’ Luke Cullinan, or of their blue’n’black careers for Conal devlin of 14 Star and Che CXlarke of 16 Star. Welcome lads!
