Conaill Taggart’s five goals extravaganza at the weekend, sees him leap from nowhere to the top of the table. …. and looking pleased with himself.

Conaill Taggart, U11 – five goals this weekend sends him flying to the top. Can he maintain the pace, though, against an old hand like Paddy?

He is one ahead of hat trick Patrick – the 17’s Paddy McGeown. He has put five in the net in the first month. Also on five, with two more goals this weekend, is the under 13s’ Conall Breen,

Paddy McGeown, U17 – 5 goals. Sitting 2nd, might just fancy the Boot this year.

Conall Breen, U13 – another five in the first month man. Can he keep it going and grab the Boot?

Conaill’s team mate, Odhran Black, scored four on Saturday to join Jude Holohan of the 18s in third place.

Odhran Black, U12 – four goals in one game. he also has his eye on the Boot at the end of the season.

Jude Holohan, U18 – got a hat trick in his first match. Can he beat off Paddy and the munchkins of the 11s and 12s to take the award back for the older end of the club?

Then we have two more under 11s – Max Burns and Sean Cunningham – who rattled off hat tricks at the weekend, 15 Star’s Dara Toland, and John Connor and Techin McGarvey of the 13s, tucking in next on three goals so far.
