Unfortunately, the Firsts lost their last match so Jack couldn’t snatch the Glove right at the end. This means we have a three way spilt at the top – three winners. They are Jack McCrea of the Firsts, Kayo Dobrolowski of 14 Star and Luke Kilpatrick of 16 Star. Well done to all three. Take a bow, lads.

Congratulations to Martin Ramsey! After a quiet few weeks, Martin sprung back in style netting four for the Firsts last week. This brings Martin’s competitive goal tally for Aquinas to 202. He becomes only the third Aquinas player to score more than 200 goals, joining the illustrious names of Ben Leonard and Matt Hughes.
Congratulations to 16 Star, who lifted the Bowl Cup on Friday night. The game ended 1 – 1 after normal time, ours thanks to Rory Moore, his first of the season. Not the worst time to start scoring, Rory. It went to penalties. They had missed one. with us to take our fifth, score and the cup was ours. Who stepped up to take it? Who else but Rory Moore. A 3 – 1 win , with a hat trick from Anto O’Doherty, sees the Seconds clinch promotion at the first time of asking in Division 3D. Well done lads and John of course. With three games to play, its still possible to clinch the title, but we would be second favourites.
Four goals from Martin Ramsey and a clean sheet from Jack McCrea keeps the Seniors in the race for promotion to the Intermediate league. With two games left, one more win should guarantee second place and promotion. after that, the last game of the season would decide the title. Any slips, mind you, and all bets are off. That’s how tight this division is this year.
