JANUARY ENDS WITH FOUR CLEAN SHEETS
Clean sheets galore this weekend! Mark McIlvenney of the Seniors kept a clean sheet in the Seconds’ 3 – 0 win out at Whitehead .. or somewhere up there. Kayo Dobroloski of 14 Star only had to go to the Grove to keep everything and everybody at bay in a 5 niller at 9.00am on Saturday morning. Luke Kilpatrick notched up another one in 16 Star’s 2 – 0 win at Hydebank while 15 Star’s Ethan Lin joined the table with his first clean sheet of the season on Friday night. Well done

FOOTBALL’S BACK!
With so many fixtures falling foul of the weather this week and last, we’re delighted just to have anything to report to you this week at all. Nathan Skelly of the 15s scored a hat trick this week at Grosvenor, to add to his other goal last weekend, and Liam Ma

THREE NEW YEAR CLEAN SHEETS
Just as the scorers made a New Year resolution to keep scoring, the keepers made one as well to keep them out….. and three did. Both under 14 keepers like to keep tabs on each other, with first Kayo, last week, and now John, this week keeping a shut out. Luke Kilpatrick of 16 Star also kept his New Year resolution in shape with a clean sheet at the Grove today. Remember the keepers’ motto – if in doubt, keep ’em out.

HAPPY NEW TROPHY FROM THE UNDER 15S
Congratulations to the under 15s who brought home the first trophy of the season, when they beat Albert Foundry 2 – 1 in the Supplementary Cup final at a wet and chilly Seaview. Well done to the lads, a great tribute to how they have worked hard together at under 15, and to the oul’ faithful Pat and his Assistant, Whistler, on their sterling work. Pat and Whistler – you can celebrate the new year tonight!! Under 15s – bed for you. We have put some photos of the cup final on t
