| RESULTS 8th May 2010 - AQUINAS WIN SBYL CUP FOR THIRD YEAR IN A ROW!!!!! Aquinas 2 Crusaders 2 aet - Aquinas won on penalties 6-5 Aquinas won a tense and hard fought match against Crusaders that went to extra time and then penalties. Goals from James Carson and Peter Webb in normal time, and a penalty save by Jack Johnston in the shoot-out contribute to a tremendous victory against a very sporting Crusaders side. (Penalty scorers - John Blaney, Darragh Doherty, Peter Lavery, James Smith, Daire McGarvey James Carson) 1st May - SBYL Cup Semi-final - Aquinas 5 Bloomfield 3 4 goals from the superb John Blaney and one from Peter Lavery seal a deserved victory in a nerve tingling semi final classic at Hydebank. 28th April - Aquinas 6 Cliftonville 0 @ Cherryvale 6.30ko 2 goals apiece from Peter Lavery, Daniel Guinness and Ryan McGuigan see Aquinas through to the semi final See the Photos Page for some new snapshots!!!! |
